We Are HEL's From 1996 - 2024 and Beyond
From its humble beginnings, yep my bedroom in Streatham back in 1996 HEL’s, (nee Hel’s Angels) was conceived not only to meet industry benchmarks, but to redefine them. As the sole female founder, joined 7 yrs later by my fabulous business partner Kim Levine, I embraced the power of intuition and empathy, shaping a company that breathes quality, innovation, and an unyielding dedication to client satisfaction. This commitment to high standards became the heartbeat of the business, echoing in every creation, service, and interaction.
Professionalism, a core tenet of the HEL’s journey, has always meant more to me than just appearances – it’s about accountability and a growth mindset. I understood early on that true professionalism involves owning mistakes, embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, and cultivating a culture where every team member is encouraged to contribute their unique perspective. It’s not about perfection; it’s about being accountable and having the humility to continually evolve (although pouring champagne perfectly is still insisted upon of course).
Kindness and Professionalism - Doing It Our Way
Yet, what distinguishes HEL’s is more than a commitment to professionalism. It’s an inherent ethos of kindness, where being a good person to work with isn’t an added benefit but an integral part of our identity. My team isn’t just a workforce; they’re family (I know this isn’t a current thing to say but the support and love fostered within the company creates a feeling of family), and our clients aren’t just transactions; they’re partners in a shared journey. This genuine kindness extends beyond our office doors into the field and through all our events, creating a positive ripple effect that transcends profit margins.
28 years later, we must be doing something right. Our core values are integral to the brand experiences we create and I am proud to see how relevant they still are to our industry.
