Espresso Martini
The nights are drawing in and the days are getting shorter – Autumn is definitely on its way. What hasn’t slowed down is the mood, so those in need of a pick me up should head towards the classic that is “The Espresso Martini”
Traditionally we have used good old Kalhua as our coffee liqueur of choice but that may well change as we will be sampling some new offerings at next week’s Boutique Bar Show – particularly excited about the Chase coffee vodka with notes of black cherry, honey and dark muscovado…Until then we will be making our old favourite Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
50ml Vodka
25ml Hot Espresso coffee
25ml Kalhua
5ml sugar syrup
Method:
Shake over ice and strain into a cocktail glass garnish with 3 coffee beans The perfect Autumn pick me up…delicious
