Thirsty Thursday – The Revival of the Drinks Cabinet

Here at HEL’s we are lucky enough to work with lots of exciting drinks brands. As a result, we like to think we have our finger on the pulse of drinks trends. And the latest thing we have noticed is the revival of those brands which usually sit at the back of your parent’s drinks cabinets and come out once a year, usually at Christmas. So here is the rundown of our favourite revival brands:

At The Back Of The Drinks Cabinet

Drambuie
Drambuie is making a big comeback and our Drambuie Collins was flying off the stand at Taste of London.
To make the perfect serve simply mix Drambuie with lemon juice and fresh mint and top with soda.

Martini

The original 80s brand, Martini is making a comeback among younger audiences. Our favourite is a Martini Extra Dry with a twist. To make, simply combine Gin and dry Vermouth shake or stir over ice and drain. Then add a twist of your choice – we love lemon, rosemary or an olive.

Cointreau
This festive season we will be trying a Cointreau fizz pear cinnamon. Mix Cointreau, fresh lime and pear juice and add soda water. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
